I was watching a show on the return of modern piracy and they had two men of interest.
One of them was a former Commander from the USN that now worked as a maritime shipping consultant.
The other was just former British Navy, maritime security consultant.
What would these guys have done in the Navy that would qualify them for these positions?

There are special places in the world that carry a feeling of excitement and romance all throughout it. An example of one of these cities is Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal. The inside of the Monastery is just as spectacular as the outside, as carries a theme of the sea. For example, the inside is decorated with painting of sea monsters and fish. The monks of the Monastery were there to pray for the success and well-being of the sailors. Vasco de Gama, among others, is buried inside the Monastery.
Because Lisbon is so near to the sea and because so much of its history has to do with the ocean, it's easy to understand how important it is to the people of Lisbon. Definitely try to make a stop at the Oceanarium. The Oceanarium is home to an absolutely huge tank - one that is the size of four Olympic-sized swimming pools. This huge tank is separated by almost invisible panels that separate different ocean "habitats." These habitats represent an ocean ecosystem where different marine organisms live. For example, there is an Antarctic region where you can see penguins, and there is also a tropical region full of sharks and tropical fish.
Lisbon is a city that holds close to its maritime history of exploration, and when you visit, you will feel the thrill of adventure and romance in the atmosphere.
